I wish students would not bring their sick kids to campus with them. I tutored a student for 45 minutes last week while her sick child hacked all over me. Needless to say, I was sick the next day... AND I'VE BEEN SICK FOR A WEEK SINCE!
*makes throttling motions*
For the sake of the sick kid AND everyone else, leave them at home!

I had no idea this was the origin of your illness! Perhaps we should put up a sign asking that people be more considerate and wait for their illness to subside before coming to the WC?
Hmm, maybe at our next meeting we should discuss that tutors should have the option to refuse a tutoring session in such circumstances?
I'd hate to have a sign hung up... it might look negative, but that's just my opinion. But maybe if the tutors were aware that we could say, "I'm sorry, but I notice that you/your child is quite ill. Because this is a close, one-on-one session, I ask that you return when you feel better so that I don't get ill as well."
