As we approach finals, take a moment to reflect on your own tutoring practices from this quarter . . . what techniquies worked best? What could be done better?
[Remember, since this is a public space, be careful to protect the privacy of individual tutees.]

Overall I feel like I was useful and had good experiences. There were a few instances of frusteration, but comes with any job. I am looking forward to next quarter.
Have a good break!
I really can't say what worked best and what didn't. Different students need different approaches.
It was fun though.
I had a fabulous time tutoring this quarter. I've learned, so far, to take my time and not let myself get stressed out too much. After all, the tutee is in the driver's seat. Into next quarter, I will remember to put the tutee first and to uphold a professional attitude in the Learning Center.
While this quarter brought new students, there were some who returned. I am so proud to see them continuing school. Coming back does not mean failure: I wish I could explain that.
The different tutoring forms took a bit of time to get used to. One of the new questions, "what are your plans for revision?" mostly resulted in the same answer, "fix what the tutor suggested." Anyone else notice that?
I love reading all the different perspectives on the assignments. I doubt I will ever tire of reading someone else's point of view. It helps me see all sides, not just mine.
I've really enjoyed the connecting and teaching aspect of working with tutees this quarter. Also, I am grateful to have such terrific people to work with on this project!
I look forward to Winter Quarter!
